Tender Heart Yoga:
Practices for the Tough Stuff.
Grounded movement and breath practices for people navigating hard things—with humor, humanity, and heart.
Welcome to Tender Heart Yoga, where healing doesn’t have to look graceful—it just has to be honest.

with Tender Heart Yoga, we honor the mess.
Healing isn’t linear, stillness isn’t always comfortable, and softness takes real courage. This is a practice for people who feel deeply—who’ve been through things—and want to move with more presence, patience, and peace.

About Megan
Megan is a Clinical Therapeutic Yoga Instructor (E-RYT 500) and Yoga Alliance Certified Education Provider who specializes in trauma-informed, accessible yoga for neurodiverse individuals, including those with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and their care partners.

Her work is grounded in research—and shaped by real life. After years of living in survival mode, she found healing through practice, breath, and fierce self-compassion. Today, she leads a therapeutic yoga program at the Charles and Harriet Shaffer Cognitive Empowerment Program within Emory University’s Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and sees clients through Tender Heart Yoga and Align Wellness.

Megan’s approach is rooted in the belief that the body carries both memory and resilience—and that softening is a strength.
